PLEASE
TALK TO US!
our aim is to make your dream holiday come true, we will
tailor the holiday to your requirements.
Riding - Firstly let's state that you do not have to be a rider to enjoy a RANCH HOLIDAY! Most ranches can accommodate the non-rider as well as the seasoned rider, so if you are a non-rider do not be put off as many ranches can offer instruction, let Ranch Rider be your guide. For a more intense riding experience we would recommend one of our working ranches. Please note that some ranches have a rest day for their horses and this is usually the changeover days, where ranches do not have a set changeover day the horses' rest day is usually Sunday.
Ranch Activities - Although most activities on-ranch are included in the price some may carry an additional charge. Certain activities may not be available at the beginning and end of the season due to weather or water conditions. Where a ranch offers a specific supervised children's programme then it normally takes place in late June, July and August.
Ranch Prices - These are calculated in sterling for a weekly stay of seven nights unless otherwise stated and include accommodation, three meals a day, most ranch activities (including riding), use of ranch facilities and taxes. Child rates are usually based upon sharing with two full paying adults; additional person rates apply when sharing with two full paying adults.
Ranch Prices Do Not Include (unless stated otherwise) - Transfers between airport and ranch, gratuities, insurance and items of a personal nature.
Gratuities - It is customary to tip in the U.S.A. and most ranches collect a gratuity charge on behalf of their staff. A guide rate is shown under the pricing panel of our price list, based on per person, per week, if applicable, and we will advise the exact amount, which will be included in your quotation/invoice. Some ranches have included a gratuity in their rate and this is shown as being included. Some ranches operate a no tipping policy and this is also shown. Some ranches leave it entirely up to the guestęs discretion and we would advise 12%-15% as an acceptable level.
