| From the peaceful beginning at Chilko Lake to the world class whitewater of Lava Canyon and the majesty of the Fraser River, this six-day, three-river adventure combines North America's most exhilarating river rafting with the spectacular scenery of British Columbia. This 500-mile journey begins with a chartered flight from Vancouver to Chilko Lake in British Columbia's central interior. The first two days are spent on the Chilko River, then on the Chilcotin for three days, and finally on the historic Fraser River with a return to Vancouver by train. Each day offers an ever-changing variety of scenery and activities to choose from. Through it all, you will dine in true style, have a chance to hike backcountry, fish, or go one-on-one with the rapids in an inflatable kayak. | ||

| TA001 - CATARACT CANYON FAVOURITE - 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS | ||
| This trip entails some sensational whitewater thrills varying from grade three to grade five along the 100-mile spectacular run through Cataract Canyon National Park. The trip commences from near Moab and runs to Hite marina on Lake Powell. During this four-day expedition, you will visit prehistoric archaeological sites where you can see Anasazi Indian petroglyphs, sandstone structures and cliff dwellings. You can experience the wonderful scenery of the red rock canyons with many opportunities for hiking and picture-taking. On top of this you have the exhilarating experience of taking on 25 exceptional rapids that are comparable with any in the world. This is a premier rafting experience. You will enjoy excellent food and camping accommodations that are designed to take the 'roughing it' element away. The trip ends with a scenic flight back to either Grand Junction or Moab. | Is your heart set on Cataract Canyon but you don't have four days? The Cataract Canyon Express trip is designed for you. This expedition covers the same 100 miles route in a day less. It is not quite so leisurely: you will hike less and visit fewer archaeological sites, but you will still encounter the same thrilling rapids, float the same red rock canyons and enjoy the same amenities as the four-day expedition. | The theme of this trip is about diversity and rapids, lots of them. You get the big waters of Cataract Canyon along with fast-moving waters in a row-raft. After two days in a row-raft on Westwater Canyon we switch to a J-rig for a ride through Cataract Canyon. This is the ultimate whitewater package, serving up 37 rapids in two very different canyons. Midway through the trip we overnight in a Moab motel giving you the opportunity to shop in town or watch the sun set on Arches National Park. This trip combines the excitement and intimacy of an oar-powered trip with the world-class rapids of Cataract Canyon. You get some of everything: row-rafting, geology, birding, hiking, and J-rig boating. The trip ends with a scenic flight back to either Grand Junction or Moab. Massive sandstone cliffs conjure up imaginary shapes. Hidden waterfalls and pools carve their way down to the river. Wildlife is abundant, with frequent sightings of elusive Blue Heron, soaring hawks and eagles, and majestic Big Horn sheep. At night, the canyon walls unveil a heaven of innumerable stars. | ||
