Taking you back to nature and introducing you to the spirit of the West, your welcoming hosts and their family share their love of this excellent ranch, where they have operated for over 60 years. Located just 16 miles from beautiful Sandpoint and the spectacular Lake Pend Oreille, with breath taking views of the Selkirk and Cabinet mountain ranges, the stunning vistas and fresh mountain air provide the perfect setting for your next vacation.
The ranch offers an excellent riding program for all levels of ability and includes lessons in the arena along with daily rides. Ride along the ridges and the valleys for a two-hour morning and afternoon ride or out on scenic all-day rides, with lunch at a beautiful waterfall, possibly even catching a glimpse of Bear, Deer and other wildlife on your way. They also offer lessons in the arena, moving cattle, cattle sorting and arena games.
Other than riding, guests can enjoy the scenery on hikes and walks, perhaps even seeing some of the local wildlife, or choose to relax in the outdoor hot tub. Other activities include archery, trap shooting, mountain biking, basketball, foosball and pool. The beauty and seclusion of North Idaho are at your fingertips whilst staying at Western Pleasure and off ranch options include going into town for shopping, there are also some great fishing, kayaking, white- water rafting and golfing opportunities nearby.
Accommodations are a mix of lodge rooms and cabins, all having their own private facilities and tastefully decorated in western style with fridges and seating area with fireplace.
Meals are served either buffet or family style in the main lodge and guests are always in for a memorable dining experience. Hearty ranch meals are prepared from the finest ingredients and the taste of ‘country gourmet’ satisfies the entire family. The weekly Dutch oven dinners, served outside at the fire pit are also very popular. Complimentary beer and wine are included replica watches. Guests can also enjoy the weekly dinner cruise on Lake Pend Orielle. Evenings are often spent listening to music around the campfire, horse drawn wagon rides, playing a friendly game of billiards in the recreational room or relaxing in the loft area of the main lodge.
